Privacy policy
We respect your privacy and limit data collection to what is strictly necessary. This page explains what data we collect, why, and how to have it corrected or deleted.
1. Scope
This policy describes how United for Football Justice handles personal data collected on this site, through the contact form, the join form, the newsletter sign-up form, and the discussion contribution form.
It does not cover a member account, personal space, or online payment, as these features are not yet active on this site.
2. Data collected
Depending on the form used, we collect:
- Contact form: name, email, organisation (optional), subject, request category, message, language, source page.
- Join form: first name, last name (optional), email, country, language, area of interest, message (optional), source page.
- Newsletter sign-up: first name (optional), email, country (optional), language, source page.
- Discussion contribution: name (optional), message, related topic, language, source page.
3. What we never collect
No banking data, no payment card numbers, and no official identification documents are collected on this site.
4. Purpose of processing
This data is used exclusively to respond to your request, process your interest in joining the movement, send you the communications you signed up for, or review your proposed contribution before any possible publication.
5. Consent
Each form includes an explicit consent checkbox, which must be checked before submission. No data is collected through these forms without this consent.
6. Conversational assistant (artificial intelligence)
If you use the site's conversational assistant, the content of your message is sent to a third-party artificial intelligence provider (Anthropic) to generate a response. These exchanges are not stored in our database; they are kept only for as long as needed to generate the response, under the provider's own terms.
7. Cookies
This site uses a single, strictly necessary cookie: it remembers your chosen language (French, English or Spanish) for one year. No advertising, tracking, or behavioural analytics cookies are used at this time.
8. Hosting and security
Data submitted through our forms is hosted on a Postgres database (Supabase), protected by row-level security rules: no public role can read or modify this data. Only code running on our servers, using a strictly confidential access key, can access it.
9. Data retention
Data is kept for as long as needed to process your request. A precise retention and automatic-deletion policy will be formalised and published before the platform's definitive launch.
10. Sharing with third parties
Your data is never sold, rented, or shared with third parties for commercial or advertising purposes. It may be disclosed if required by law.
11. Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by writing to the editorial team via the Contact page.
12. Minors
This site is not specifically directed at children and does not knowingly collect data about minors.
13. Changes to this policy
This policy will be updated as new features are activated on the site (member accounts, payments, etc.). Any substantial change will be announced on the site.
